Indies Archive

When: From March 25, 2023 to May 28, 2023

Where: Archive of the Indies – Seville (Avenida de la Constitución, s/n)

You cannot miss this guided tour of one of the monuments that has been declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1987. Through the tour, you will be able to discover one of the key places during the city’s Golden Age. You can visit this important building during the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), where you will understand more about the historical relationship of Spain and Seville, with territories of America and the Pacific. You can get tickets for this exhibition from 12 euros.

Navigation Pavilion

When: From March 22, 2023 to April 30, 2023

Where: Navigation Pavilion – Seville (Camino de los Descubrimientos, 2)

This museum has a permanent exhibition, in which you can appreciate the influence of maritime exploration in the development of civilization. Children and adults will be fascinated by the four sections of the enclosure, which show different themes such as life at sea or maritime technology. Those who want to enjoy this fun experience can do so until April 30 from Monday to Sunday (from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.). The duration of the tour is approximately 60 minutes, and tickets can be obtained for 6 euros.

Museum of Illusions

When: Permanent – Monday to Sunday

Where: Museum of Illusions – Seville (Calle San Eloy, 28)

The plan that you cannot miss with your family, a place where your mind and your senses will be put to the test in a very fun way. In this museum you will be able to see an exhibition made up of 3D puzzles, revolving rooms, mirages and all kinds of optical illusions, with which you can interact and spend a different afternoon. The visit lasts approximately 45 minutes and can be done from Monday to Sunday (between 10 a.m. and 7:45 p.m.). The site has adapted access for people with reduced mobility and you can buy tickets from 12 euros.

Seville in 1992: visit the Expo ’92 pavilion

When: Thursday 20, Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 April 2023

Where: Navigation Pavilion – Seville (Camino de los Descubrimientos, 2)

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Universal Exposition of Seville in 1992, a very special exhibition will be held in April 2023. You will be able to touch and learn about the history of the six months that turned the Andalusian capital into a focus of technological advances. Those interested may come at the end of April this year, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., being an activity suitable for all ages. The place is adapted for people with reduced mobility, and tickets can be obtained from 6 euros (children under 5 years old are free).

TOURS

Night route through the enchanted Seville

When: Permanent – Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday

Where: Monument to the Immaculate – Seville (Plaza del Triunfo, 3)

You will learn about the history and mysteries of the city with this route that passes through the center of Seville. Led by a professional guide and for 120 minutes, you will discover tragedies and legends of Arab, Roman, Jewish and Christian events. There are 15 stops that are part of this tour, with which you will never see the Santa Cruz neighborhood as before. The tour starts at 8:00 p.m. and can be done by young and old, tickets are available for 5 euros (children) and 10 euros (adults).

Salinas House

When: Permanent – Monday to Sunday

Where: Casa de Salinas – Seville (Calle Mateos Gago, 39)

If you are a lover of architecture and history, you cannot miss a visit to this private mansion that is located a very short distance from the Alcázar. The Casa de Salinas was built in the 16th century, visitors will be able to appreciate an incredible and elegant combination of different architectural styles such as Renaissance or Gothic. This tour with a professional guide in English and Spanish lasts 25 minutes. It can be done from Monday to Sunday, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and its entry has a value of 8 euros.

Seville Cruise

Where: Seville (meeting point to be determined)

What better way to discover the charm of the Andalusian capital than by boat, a cruise on the Guadalquivir River will become one of the best experiences in the city. With the sun on your face, the wind in your hair and the magic of a cruise, you will be able to discover the architectural beauties of this capital. The tour can be done every day, it lasts 60 minutes and you can choose the boarding time between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. You will have all the instructions and the exact meeting point when you buy the tickets, which you can get from 15 euros.

Seville mushrooms

When: From March 22 to April 30, 2023

Where: Seville (Plaza de la Alienación s/n)

This masterpiece of modern architecture is located in the heart of the City of the Giralda, and right now it presents two new attractions: the Feeling Seville experience and Aurora, a light show. Enjoy an immersive tour that has as its center, the largest led screen in the country, plus you can take a magical walk at night, where an amazing light show will make the evening unforgettable. The tour lasts approximately 60 minutes, it can be done from Monday to Sunday (between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 a.m.). It is a plan suitable for all ages and its tickets can be obtained from 15 euros.

Arcade Planet

When: Permanent – From Friday to Monday

Where: Arcade Planet – Two sisters, Seville (Calle Siroco, 17)

Have fun like a child and go back in time in one of the largest video game halls in Spain, considered the second most important in Europe. You will have the opportunity to use more than 190 arcade machines, and remember some games like: Street Fighter II, pac man either Mortal Kombat. From Friday to Monday (11 a.m. and 5 p.m.), you can play without limit for up to 4 hours, making it a perfect plan for the whole family. Tickets for this activity can be obtained for children for 8 euros and for adults for 10 euros.

Watch tower

When: Permanent – From Wednesday to Monday

Where: Navigation Pavilion – Seville (Camino de los Descubrimientos, 2)

Admire the incredible landscapes of the Andalusian capital from more than 60 meters high, enjoy an impressive perspective and panoramic view of the roofs of Seville. You will be able to contemplate the Guadalquivir river and all its historical constructions. If you want to live this experience, you can climb this tower from Wednesday to Monday at different times (from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.). Tickets can be obtained for 2 euros and you will have access to the two viewpoints that the tower has.
